I give a straight 50% of
all First and Second tier
profit (i.e. sales less costs) for the
life of the product for all
authors who enter joint venture (your material,
my infrastructure) agreements with me and
supply original material to the standard shown
in the above example.
Your
commission reduces to a minimum of 25% if your
work requires considerable proof reading and/or
layout corrections and/or any major reworking
(e.g. poor grammar or speling :-)

I hear you exclaim ~ I'll only get 25%.
Not so.
It greatly benefits me to retain authors who
submit new work to the standard required to
retain customers. I have less work to do to
prepare it for sale, and clients learn to
respect a) my site and b) the relevant author
as offering value for money.
If
you sell a 3 page PDF file containing little
content you are unlikely to gain a repeat sell.
If you offer high quality, factually accurate
work with relevant images and links your half
way home in advertising the next work by that
author.
You
can submit work in editable format with 100%
confidence that I will not publish it until we
have a firm agreement a) to any content changes
I might make, b) to the advertising page I will
use and c) to the sales method, d) and the
commission you will receive.
Another common question: How do I
know you will pay all that is owed to me? Which
gains the same answer; I do not want to rip you
off for one article when I hope to make
commission for many articles. There are two
hard elements to on-line publishing; Writing
quality content and selling that content! I
have the latter element in place (with a large
pre-existing source of buyers), you can supply
the former knowing I will need you again for
your next article!

This is a solid, workable
process that can get you up and earning very
quickly if you'll put the effort in. No fairy
tales or huge promises here, just 50% of
profit, for life , for any
article you write!.
