Why is it so difficult to set up my hotmail, virgin and yahoo email accounts with outlook?

I am trying to set up my email accounts with office 2007. But I can’t for some reason. Why is it so difficult. They are the Hotmail, Virgin and yahoo ones.

Whenever I switch my computer on my user account shows 88 emails or some other number from my various email accounts such as hotmail. How do i stop these from showing up on the log in screen?
